We have to perform hypothesis test to determine whether the mean volume is less than 12 ounces.

Hypothesis :

H_0 : \mu = 12

H_1 : \mu < 12 ( claim )

Left tailed test.

Using TI-84,

Enter given sample data in TI-84 { To Enter data press STAT ----> Edit ----> inpute data in L1 }

Now , STAT --- > TESTS ----> Select , T-Test ----> hit Enter.

Input :

Highlight Calculate and hit Enter.

Output :

p-value = 0.07755

Significance level = \alpha = 0.1

P-value is less then \alpha = 0.1

So, reject Null hypothesis.

Conclusion :

There is sufficient evidence to conclude that mean volume is less than 12 ounces.
