E = 4 N/C

q = 5 uC

d = 1.5 m

Force = qE = 20*10^-9 N

Work done = F*d = 30*10^-9 J = 30 uJ.

Question 5:

Since from a to b the work done is positive, the change in potential energy will be negative.

or b will be at lower potential.

delta PE = - 30 uJ

Question 6:

Potential difference = 30 uJ( A is at higher potential

Question 7:

AB line is perpendicular to the electric field then the work done will be zero.

Question 8:

Both are at same potential so potential difference = 0

Question 9:

Both are at same potential so potential difference = 0
