Answer #1

1) "Knowing is good, but knowing everything is better". This statement is NOT true.

Knowing is good, but it is not better to know everything.

Let me give you an example of my pregnant sister. When she was pregnant with her first daughter, she encountered certain health issues during her 7th month of pregnancy. She had blood clots in her placenta (placenta supplies food and oxygen to the baby inside) her doctor prescribed her to take a drug which is known to regulate the blood flow. My sister has a habit of verifying everything on Internet, and she checked about this particular drug and composition. Then she got to know that this particular drug is given to heart patients to ensure there is free flow of blood and no blood coagulation. There, she saw a warning, which says, not for pregnant women. Once she saw that warning, she stopped taking the drug and subsequently within two weeks her baby died inside. She doctor asked her about the drug, and whether she took it or not, she said, "she saw the warning on the internet about the drug not administering to pregnant women, hence she did not take the drug". Then doctor explained her that this is the only drug that can help her condition to become normal since she needs a blood thinner to ensure there are no formation of the clots and baby gets its food and oxygen continuously from the mother. Since she did not take the medicine, there was severe blood clots which resulted in suffocation for the baby and baby died inside the womb.

This incident throws light on one important aspect. It is better to be ignorant sometimes, than trying to know everything. Had she been ignorant and listened to what doctor said, she would have saved her baby. Therefore, knowing is good, but knowing everything is not good. Sometimes, we should rely on the system and person.
