a. carbohydrate chain-these are also called as glycolipids and glycoproteins give each cell a unique fingerprint,allowing cell to adhere to one another,to receive signals from various molecules and to recognize other cells.

b.cholesterol- makes phosopholipids pack more tightly and regulates fluidity and flexibility of the membrane.

c.proteins- it transports chemicals and information throughout the membrane.

d.phospholipid bilayer- it is a liquid membrane in which other molecules such as proteins are suspended.

e.filaments of cytoskeleton- it provides internal support for the cells
