Answer #1

Photochemical reaction are the reaction when a chemical process absorb light energy and convert into useful energy. Three examples of photochemical light- tissue interactions are:

I. Photosynthesis: it is the process of converting light energy received from sun into chemical energy. This process is perform by plants, algae and some bacteria. In this process, light energy is used to produce sugar molecule .

II. Photodynamic theory: in this process, light is used to destroy the tumor cells using photosensitized reaction of triplet oxygen.

III. Synthesis of vitamin D: in this process, vitamin D is sunthesized in the human body with the help of sunlight.

The predominant photochemical procedure is "photosynthesis". Because this process, is only performed by plants, some bacteria and algae. Using this process, plants made their food and other organism are dependent on plants for their food sources.
