Answer #1

LET US DENOTE STUDYING HOURS BY "X" AND PLAYING HOURS BY "Y"

SO, by 1st condition we know

X + Y = 10

they must study atleast twice the time they play, is  given by

X >= 2Y

It is necessary to study atleast 3 hours a day

X >= 3

Thus LPP model is given by

Objective Function : Maximum Z = 10 = X + Y

Constraints : X >= 2Y

X >= 3

where X, Y > 0
