Answer #1

LinkedIn and Facebook are two very different platforms and have different purpose. The LinkedIn profile shows that professional part of a person including stuff like projects handled, past experience, academics, skill set etc. so as to attract the recruiter. The Facebook displays more of personal stuff like places I travel, Food I love to eat, friends, family etc.

In LinkedIn, I purposely left out the personal stuff which otherwise are present on Facebook. The LinkedIn only contains professional content like work being done, projects, achievements, academics etc.

I don't have an issue if employers search for my Facebook profile. The difference is that it displays the personal side of me including the stuff I like to enjoy. But, I will more happy I they refer LinkedIn profile for interview.

In the LinkedIn profile, I have shown myself as a very serious person who is like a nerd. But in actual, I am not so studious. I like maintain healthy balance between professional and personal life. But, the skill set, project details and achievements mentioned are all correct
