The offset times for 1 km, 2 km and 3 km are shown in the table below:

The graph for calculation of velocity is shown below. The slope of the line obtained is the square of the root mean squared velocity of the medium.

The velocity is thus the square root of 0.188 which is 0.433 m/s.

The NMO above is calculated by simply subtracting the zero offset time from the respective offset times. The reflector is thus perfectly corrected in this way.
