Efficiency = 1.5% = 0.015, Net power output = 90kW,

Efficiency of power plant is given by the ratio of the net power output to the the amount of heat supplied.

\eta = net power output / amount of heat supplied

1.5% = 90 kW / amount of heat supplied

thus, amount of heat supplied = 6000 kW

= 6000 × 3412.142 Btu/hr

= 20472852 Btu/hr

The average value of the heat supplied rate is 20472852 Btu/hr.
