17) what is science ? Explain why is forming and testing hypothesis at the core of science? Hypothesis influences three other factors, what are they?
The hypothesis testing is also called scientific method, which is a method for testing the genuineness of the hypothesis. A hypothesis is tested using two ways, direct procedure & indirect method. Science makes use of a study based on evidence for investigating & researching. The approach includes observations, testing the hypotheses, predictions & evaluation of the information. The scientific theories has wide scope & it is backed by a huge amount of evidence. Process of the science is repeated, nonlinear & more of a teamwork & forming & testing the hypotheses is at the core of the science. The 3 factors are; the research & discoveries, the evaluation & response from the science community, & societal advantages & results.
hope the answer helps.

Suppose we are testing the hypothesis Ho: p = 0.65 versus H1: p > 0.65 and we find the p-value to be 0.02. Explain what this means. Would you reject the null hypothesis? Explain how a court trial is like hypothesis testing. Include the steps of a hypothesis test and why a verdict is "not guilty" instead of innocent.

what is chi-square and what does hypothesis testing testing tell us. please explain in great detail for a thumbs up !
Q1) Why we sometimes get unexpected results during hypothesis testing? Q2) What is the relationship between level of significance and confidence level? Q3) State the different factors on which sample size depends? Q4) What is the difference between 2 and t test? (5) Draw distribution curve and write hypothesis for the left one tail and right one tail.
Explain what is meant by the “level of significance” and its relationship to hypothesis testing.
How are exploratory data analysis (EDA) and hypothesis testing different? Explain why EDA could be preferred in data mining, and justify your explanation with a specific example.
The value of t-score in a hypothesis testing is influenced by a variety of factors. Assuming that all other variables are held constant, explain how the value of t is influenced by each of the following: (1.5) Increasing the difference between sample mean and the original population mean. Increasing the variability of scores. c. Increasing the number of people in the sample.
How would you define data science? Why has the role of data science become so important to businesses and other organizations? What factors have led to big data being available and accessible, even to smaller companies and organizations?
Explain “Type II Error” (β) in hypothesis testing.
