Please Explain carbon and nutrient budgets in ecosystems. Provide examples of the stocks and flows. Please explain in two paragraphs?
Carbon and nutrient even most of the mineral recycles in ecosystem from one step to next and then again to primary.
Carbon and nutrient stocks are organic material available as nutrients like living organism ,detritus and coal peat oil etc also sources of nutrients.inorgsnic material like soil, atmosphere water is also the source and mineral in rock is also source but it is not directly available.
Carbon and. Nutrients if taken up by organism to survive and when they become eaten up by higher order organism inf food chain this carbon and nutrient goes to that organism and likely it goes to uppermost organism also. Now, when these organism becomes dead their bodily component becomes simple by various means and become available for again consumption which means it again goes to source like carbon is used up by photosynthesis and incorporated into the body of producer and produced can be eaten up by consumers or it can be decomposed by decomposer or it can be goes to be peat ,coal or carbonate rocks, decomposed particle can be used up to form peat ,coal etc.Consumer can also be goes to form pit, coal.and then, consumer and producer can give carbon to stock by combustion or respiration .
Peat, coal oil can give supply to stock by combustion, weathering and volcanic activity.
Thank you
