A democracy of individual participation can be defined as a democratic system where all the individual citizens are involved in the policy-making process and they are given rights, opportunities, and voices when it is time to make some serious decisions regarding the state of the country they live in.

This form of democracy seeks to get citizens more involved in the political workings of the government than a traditional democracy where representatives of each constituency make decisions on behalf of his people.
