[A] HealthShare Exchange (HSX) is a organisation that provides access to health information to enable preventable and cost-effective care, helps in improving quality of patient care,and facilitates care transition. HealthSahre exchange envisions a trusted community of health care stakeholders in the greater philadelphia region, as philadelphia is the sixth largest metropolitian area in the country The company's leadership has also expanded its business and technology principle in order to guide decision making for the company The plan covers the strategy for product and services related with HealthShare Exchange like

1- Hie unique model (Health Information Exchange)

2- Population Health

3- Innovation, Research and development.

4- Encounter Notification Service

5- Query Data Exchange.

HSX members include - Hospitals, Health System, Ambulatory care practice, Behavioural Health Organisation, Health plan and Post Acute Health Facility.

[B] The two main challenges in the Healthshare Exchange are as follows

1- Financial Stability- The one of the biggest challenge faced by Healthshare Exchange is the financial sta bility as it is one of Non Proft organisation which requires funds and other financial resources for its continous working so that it can provide with the required health care information and other such data

2- Competitive Concern - As the result of the growing economy the competition is growing at a rapid rate and in order to remain in the competition it need to be up to date with its innovation and other such services and should always keep in the mind the position of its competitors so that it can eliminate the barrier occuring in its growing path.

[C] The following are the two main important return on investment on HSX

1- Sending timely discharge information to all trading physician and other care coordinating team members - This will help in improving the transition of care from hospitals by providing information or transmitting information from hospitals to the patient providers that include primary physician, specialist and other care coordinating team members within few hours of patient discharge and this will serve as the most effective return on investment to the investor on HSX

2- Delivering clinical activity and medication history to hospitals, doctors, physicians etc on demand at point of care- This kind of investment on HSX helps in improving care and reduce medication error by providing timely and accurate patient clinical activity information and other such medication history available to the authorized provider.
