A11.

Mutual Consideration

For any contract to be enforceable, it has to have some prerequisite elements. These prerequisites are the presence of an offer, acceptance, mutual consideration among others. Mutual consideration refers to the condition where two or more parties entering into a contract must be getting something out of the terms of the contract in exchange. For eg - If one party is selling goods, the other party pays for it. This exchange is known as mutual consideration where there is an exchange of valuable commodity between the parties entering into a contract.
