Bells palsy mostly effects cranial nerve vIII .these nerves mostly run towards facial portion . The common causes of bells palsy are facial twisting and weakness. It also causes face paralysis.

In Guillain -barre syndrome cranial nerve IX and cranial nerve x is involved that effects pheriphral nervous system that causes weakness, tumbness tingling and eventually causes paralysis.
