Ans:

a) Number of moles of CaCl2 = 0.235 x 0.557 = 0.130895

1 mole of CaCl2 produces 2 moles of AgCl

So 0.130895 moles of CaCl2 will produce 2 x 0.130895

= 0.26179 moles of AgCl

b) Molar mass of AgCl = 143.32 g/mol

So the amount of AgCl produced = 143.32 x 0.26179

= 37.52 grams
