Compare the progressive agenda and the new deal agenda. Argue about what each movement is about and if you feel that the new deal is a continuation of the progressive era. ( have good evidence to back up your claim!)

Progressive Agenda:- It was the reform movement formed by the eminent political leaders between the period between the World War II and the Great depression. It is actually propagated the reform ideas for the society development with the social justice and solving the issues lies with the environment, education, health, infrastructure and the production sectors, etc. But they routed such ideas from the concept of modernization. It also emancipate the regulation of politics by changing the form of bureaucratic administration to the socialist administration by avoiding the bribery actions.

New deal Agenda:- New deal is also the first reform movement formed by the President Roosevelt in 1933-36. It was formed by the impacts of depression during 1930s. And also during this time period only many Act of reforms came into existence like Civil Works Administration (CWA), Farm Security Administration (FSA), National Industry Recovery Act of 1933 (NIRA). It favored the use of three 3Rs i.e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to foster the operations in reducing the unemployment issues, Reusing the available resources and changing into productive energy and the third one Recycling the waste products into harmless source of inputs in the form of land, water and sea resources.

According to my opinion, New deal Agenda have greater advantage rather than Progressive Agenda. We can support the evidence by giving best example by explaining the operations of first new deal activities. The first 100 days fetched the good result when they implemented the proposal of action plans during one year 1933-34, under the guidance of the then Attorney General Thurman Arnold, anti-monopoly policies are fully abolished and other economists under the support of New Deal reform holders, more employment opportunities are created by creating more incentives to the new investors. And also many wage reforms act were created to reduce the long working hours and raising the standard of living as well as the minimum wages for all types of laborers.
