The tool, a flat bottom end mill, will have 4 teeth, a diameter of 0.5 in and a flute 0.75 in long. The (0,0,0) reference point will be point A in the figure. The depth of cut will be 0.030 in (same as the step width). Use the optimum feed and speed from the Table 4.2 given in class Power Point slides. Also, use a width of cut that will not exceed the available spindle power (Use Table 4.3 given in class Power Point slides). Cut with flood coolant on. Make sure your path back home (and any tool path) does not crash the tool against the workpiece.
