Answer #1

answer. a,b,c.

a. Glucose is found in at least three common disaccharides found in nature while fructose is a component of only one

Glucose is present as a component in lactose, sucrose and maltose disaccharides whereas fructose is present only in sucrose.

b. Glucose and fructose are bot hexose sugars.

AS these contains 6 carbon atoms.

c, Glucose and fructose are both reducing sugars.

.All monosaccharides are reducing sugars because all monosaccharides have an aldehyde group (if they are aldoses) or can tautomerize in solution to form an aldehyde group (if they are ketoses). This includes common monosaccharides like galactose, glucose, fructose, etc.

d. The pyranose form of glucose is just one of the cyclic forms that glucose can adopt. And actually, fructose can be found in either a furanose form or a pyranose form, but the furanose form is the one that's most typical and when people think of fructose as a ring, they most typically think of it in this form. So the last option is not correct.
