1. A common argument against outcomes research is it limits health care. Explain why someone making this argument needs to be more specific.

2. Outcomes research is full of problematic theoretical issues. Explain how even the simplest evaluation method, cost identification analysis, is subjective and the use of this method can result in different outcomes for the same treatment among different studies.

3. Explain why the most commonly utilized evaluation techniques—cost effectiveness analysis and cost utility analysis—fail to provide information on the overall efficiency of a treatment. Do you feel this reduces the usefulness of these two economic evaluation methods? Explain your answer.

Answer- Outcomes research is a branch of public health research, which studies the end results (outcomes) of the structure and processes of the health care system on the health and well-being of patients and populations.

As this research deals with general health care policies of government and evaluate currently running programs too . This research also decide the which class of people should get health benefits or not. So, with this many operation related with general health care with minor mistakes like human error in collecting the data wrong sample size and choosing wrong parameters will affect general population. So, with minor error in collecting and implementing these research which lead excluding many people out public health care that's why we can say that outcomes research is limiting health care.
