Answer #1

a)Sodium Hydroxide is being used during Scouring to neutralise acidic materials, saponifize the waxes, natural ingredients oils, and remove silicate by solubilisation.

Now NaOH is a harsh and strong base, causing damage to the fabric.Which in turn may create problem during dyeing.

There is also a danger of bleaching of several fabrics. White cloth are ok and can be scoured in mill, but not applicable for wools. Moreover it takes several hours to complete the NaoH treatment.

b)Now using enzymatic processes use mild and much more effective methods to remove impurities. Moreover more natural and a more faster process which can encompass all types of fabrics is much acceptable.

Many manufactuning companies use molded parts as components of a process Shrinkage is often a major problem Thus, a molded die for a part is built larger nominal size to allow for part shrinkage. In an injection modeling study, it is known that the shrinkage is influenced by many factors among which are the injection velocity in it sec and mold temperature in degrees Celsius. The accompanying data sets show the results of a designed experiment in which injection velocity...
