Answer #1

For molecule C

Multiplicity of Ha = doublet due to coupling with Hb

Multiplicity of Hb = doublet due to coupling with Ha

For molecule D

The chemical displacement value of protons of both the methyl groups are at -4.2 ppm. From this data we know that the protons are shielded. Since there are 7 pairs of delocalised π electrons (14 electrons) are present at the periphery of the molecule D, so it is an aromatic compound. And inside the aromatic compounds paramagnetic ring current flows which induces an upfield shift in chemical displacement value. And these protons of methyl group are present inside the compound.
