Two different nucleus fuse to form zygote by karyogamy. Zygote immediately undergoes meiosis to form haploid spores.

A is plasmogamy with karyogamy.

B is meiosis/reductional division. The spores develop into basidiospores.

1 is basidiospores

2 is basidium

3 is dikaryon mycelium with clamp connections.

In class basidiomycytes, fruiting body develops like this. Mushroom or Agaricus is a common member of this class.
