a. So according to the question , sugar in Benedict's test is 1.5 ml of 1.5 % sugar.

So in 100 ml solution there is 1.5 gm sugar

For 1 ml solution =1.5÷100

For 1.5 ml solution=1.5×1.5/100=2.25/100

= 0.0225 gm sugar in1.5 ml of 1.5% solution.

b.

Total amount of solution=2 drops=2×1/20ml=0.1ml

So we have to calculate the amount of sugar in 0.1ml of 1.2% solution

So in 100 ml solution, the amount of sugar is =1.2gm

In 1 ml solution,the amount of sugar is=1.2/100=0.012gm

In 0.1 ml solution, the amount of sugar is=0.012×0.1=0.0012gm of sugar in 2 drops of 1.2% solution.
