Answer1) Pancreas perfomes the function of both exocrine and endocrine hormone secretion.

As an exocrine organ it secrets enzymes which helps in the sugar and salt metabolism. The cells producing exocrine hormones are in a clustered form known as acini. Acini produces digestive enzymes. In between these acini lies the pockets of cells known as islets of langerhans responsible for performing the endocrine function. As an endocrine organ it secretes two important hormones known as insulin and glucagon.

2)Beta cells- produce insulin

3)Delta cell-produce somatostatin
