There are two hypotheses to explain the pattern of Human Evolution:
1) Progressive Evolution of a Single Lineage ; 2) Evolutionary Radiation
Which of these hypotheses are supported by evidence, and briefly explain why?
The progressive evolution and the evolutionary radiation (adaptive radiation) are the hypothesis to explain the patterns of evolution.
Human evolution cannot be called as adaptive radiation. Because,Adaptive radiation is an evolutionary process that a small number of ancestral species in one taxon diversifies into a larger number of descendant species, occupying a broader range of ecological niches, which is not in the case of human evolution.
Human evolution is an example of ORTHOGENESIS or ANAGENESIS which is a gradual process that took place slowly in time.

3)Which of the following two hypotheses: 1) Progressive evolution of a single lineage and 2) Evolutionary radiation is supported by evidence? Describe the evidence while proving a brief explanation. (This topic is with regards to human evolution).
There have been three major hypotheses to explain the evolution of modern Homo sapiens: 1) The African replacement 2) Hybridization and assimilation 3) Multiregional evolution Discuss evidence supporting and/or refuting the three hypotheses, and indicate which is best.
Question 59 (1 point) ✓ Saved Which of the following statements about human evolution is correct? A Modern humans are the only human species to have evolved on Earth. B) The upright posture and enlarged brain of humans evolved separately. Human evolution has occurred within an unbranched lineage. D) Human ancestors were virtually identical to extant chimpanzees.
A) Is natural selection progressive? Why or why not? B) Explain how evolution can influence genotype-by-environment interactions. Provide an example to assist your explanation.
4) Briefly explain each of the following hypotheses: - The African replacement - Hybridization and assimilation - Multiregional evolution Make sure to evidence that helps support or refute each of the hypothesis, indicating which one is the best.
Evolution Question: Human Teeth evolution question, in your answer explain the following: Why do we have teeth, How does the evolution of teeth relate to the famous evolution theories, Darwin theories. what ecological factors influence human teeth Evolution. What is the relation of early man and evolution theory. What are the controversy surrounding wisdom teeth and Why are we not using wisdom teeth. Please explain 5 important facts about teeth/teeth evolution?
