Answer #1

The fats in the frogs are found deposited under the reproductive organs in both males and females. The frogs does not utilize the energy in the body for the maintenance of the temperature during hibernation. The fat bodies are used for the production of energy during the process of metamorphosis, mating. They are also used up during the hibernation for the production of energy to perform the metabolic activities.
