Ans: B. lagging strand

Helicase unwinds the DNA. The lagging strand is slow hence the helicase goes with the lagging strand in order to prevent unwinding of whole DNA. Had it been with leading strand, it would have unwinded the whole DNA complicating the process of DNA replication.
