In August, 2014 there was an Ebola epidemic in Africa. Two Americans doctors contracted the disease while doing mission work. They were transported back to the U.S. and treated at Emory hospital in Atlanta, GA. At the heart of this debate is whether they should have been brought back due to fears of an outbreak in U.S. and also who should get treatment. Research this case, and explain your position on this issue with your classmates. Consider the all viewpoints and information.

*At first, these are the doctors that work overseas by risking their lives so they deserve the best possible treatment.

*Now, lets talk about the hospital.

So, Emory University Hospital, which is one of the best and safest places to deal someone with ebola and their is virtually no possilbe way through which the virus can spread from their super secure isolation ward.

*Our fear should not triumph our compassion towards the fellow americans.

*The ward had "Negative air pressure" which means that the air can flow in, but can't escape until gets filtered from any germs carried from patients.

*They also handled patients of SARS which unlike ebola spred from mere sneezing or cough.

*Inside the ward patients are sealed off from anyone who doesn't wear protective gears.

*Family memberes were kept at the distance so they can see or talk through the glass window but weren't allowed to enter the ward.

*There was only one room for the one patient.
