1) this is called signal transduction because a signal which may be electrical or chemical bound to receptors present in cell membrane or cytoplasm or nucleus and which then results in the activation of second messenger and which perform many function and which Function is also be amplified.

As signal is transmitted from one Molecules to next , it is called signal transduction

2) Alternating splicing make many protein of different size from single mRNA because in this procedure different introns are deleted and different Econs get attached and thus different protein is synthesized.
