The main difference observed in the nucleus during comparison of a dividing and non dividing cell is chromosomes.

In dividing cells,the nuclear membrane is not formed as the dividing cell needs to divide frequently . Non dividing cell contains nuclear membrane.
The genetic material in the nucleus of dividing cell is in chromosome form which is denser.while in non divinding cell, the genetic material is in chromatin form.
