Answer #1

Peroxidase is an enzyme which is involved in breakdown of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen .

hydrogen peroxide act as a free radical which causes the Oxidative damage to the cell.

spectrophotometer obeys the beer lambert 's law:

concentration of the solute in the solution is directly proportional to the intensity of the color when the path length is 1cm.

higher the intensity of the color higher is the solute concentration.

H2O2   + OPD-H2 -------   H2O + OPD

(hydrogen peroxide)   ( reduced ) water oxidised form

( formed after breakdown   ( appear yellow on oxidation )

Molten salts When electricity is applied to a molten binary salt, the cation will be reduced and the anion will be oxidized. The electrolysis of CaBrz (), for example, produces Ca(s) at the cathode (from the reduction of Ca2+) and Br2(1) at the anode (from the oxidation of Br"). If more than one cation is present, only the one with highest reduction potential will be reduced. Similarly, if more than one anion is present, only the one with the highest...

please can you answer questions part one Vitamin C can be measured using a technique called titration. Because vitamin C is easily oxidized, we can use this chemical reactivity to detect it in solution. If we react vitamin C with iodine, the vitamin C is oxidized and the iodine is reduced. Iodine (12 molecules) form a purple complex with starch in solution, but reduced iodine, iodide, (I-) is colorless in the presence of starch. CH,OH CH,OH о о снон Η...
