6, The body segments of arthropods are generally divided into three -the head , thorax and the abdomen. the headparts have the appendages of mouthparts for feeding, eyes and antenna, the thorax has walking legs or wings, the abdomen has appendages for circulation ,digestion and reproduction. The crayfish has two important segements cephalothorax and abdomen. Cephalothorax means head and thorax joined together. The head has mouth parts, compound eyes and antenna, thorax has legs for walking, abdomen has small appendages called swimmerets

No the arthropods do not have similar specialisation of body parts. Each part is confined to different functions.
