Answer #1

Answer:-

Given :- weight of given person = 154lbs

Since 1 lbs = 0.45 kg

: . 154 lbs = 70kg.

1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 kcalories

Daily carbohydrates requirements for intense work

I.e 3-6 hour /day = 8-10 g/kg

A)

Now ; consider lower value i.e 8

Total carbohydrate required by given person = weight x 8

= 70 X 8

= 560gm

Convert it to calories by multiplying with 4 (since 1g of carbohydrates = 4 kcalories)

I.e 560 X 4 = 2240 kcalories.

B)

Now consider the upper value i.e 10

Total carbohydrate required by person = 70 X 10

=700gm

Covert it to calories

I.e 700 X 4 = 2800 kcalories.

Therefore , answer of choices are

a) 2200 and c) 2800
