Option a impetigo and option d SSS are caused by exfoliative toxin of staphylococcus strain. Stripping of superficial layers of skin from underlying tissues occurs in various exfoliative syndromes caused by staph which are impetigo, pemphigus neonatorum, Ritters disease.

Scalded skin syndrome is an exfoliative disease where toxin spreads systemically.

Option B TSS. Toxic shock syndrome is caused by a toxin TSST-1 and causes high fever, hypotension, vomiting, diarrhea and scarlatinifirm rash.

TSS also occurs due to streptococcal toxins. Patients are often bacterimic and have necrotising fascitis.

Necrotising fascitis is a Complication of TSS. TSS is caused by pyrogenic exotoxin.
