I need help with all parts please.
B.) Compare Lanes 3 and 4?
How tight of a protein-protein association exists?
A. Lanes 1 and 2: Question - Is there any difference between total protein content of wild type cells and dnaK spheroplasts?
Result - There is no visible difference between the total protein present (no IP) in the wild type cells amd dnaK spheroplasts as both show a comparable protein smear in the lanes.
B. Lanes 3 and 4: Lane 3 has IP done with wild type cells while lane 4 has IP done with SDS treated cells. SDS treatment abolishes any protein protein interaction in the cell, which is why no protein is seen to interacting with dnaK, compared to wt cells.

Compare Lanes 3 and 4? What question is being asked? How tight of a protein-protein association exists? What is the result? Compare lanes 3 and 5? What question is being asked? What is the result? I need help with A and B please and can you explain how you got the answers? Figure 1. need help with 4i, ii, and iii please. 4) A cell line is transfected with a plasmid encoding either a secreted glycoprotein, X, or a variant of X that contains the amino acids KDEL at its C terminus, both of them under control of an inducible promoter. KDEL motifs are normally found on proteins located in the lumen of the ER. At 30 minutes after induction, cycloheximide, an inhibitor of protein synthesis, is added to the culture medium. At 30,...
