Answer #1

27- ca+ ions

Insulin releases when calcium ions enter the cell. The insulin filled vesicles moves and fuses with the cell surface membrane in order to release insulin by the process of exocytosis into the blood stream.

28- serine and aspartic acid

Hydrogen bonding takes place between catechol meta and para hydroxyl groups and serine residues whereas, aspartic acid side chains are involved in ionic interactions with the amino group of epinephrine.

29- cAMP, protein kinase A, PIP3 and protein kinase B

Glucagon binds to a G protein coupled receptor and the enzyme adenylate cyclase activates the cAMP which intern activates protein kinase A. The insulin pathway is regulated by protein kinase B, PIP3 that is phosphatidylinositol triphosphate is a precursor and plays an important role in regulating and metabolising the insulin pathway.
