a. West Nile cases reported in Canada in 2018 (2647 affected patients) were high in number compared to 2017 (2097 affected patients). The main feature of the 2018 infection is that it has a higher number of the most severe form of neuroinvasive infection. It caused inflammation in the brain of patients.

b. The medical persons are not able to find out any particular reason for the increased number of infections. But the main reason for the increased death toll is reported as many of the patients infected were asymptomatic. In Europian countries the reason for higher infections is might be the prevaknet hot summer.
