Question:
A client has a total data of size 40012 Bytes. A server has a total data size of 58407 Bytes. The client always sends two packets at a time and the server replies once after every two packets from the client. The client has a buffer size of 10000 Bytes, the server has a buffer size of 21000 Bytes. The window size is of both the client and the server is 8970 Bytes. The Initial Sequence number of the server is your Student ID, The initial Sequence number of the client is your Student ID multiplied by 2. Draw a figure step by step, showing Sequence number, Acknowledgement number and rwnd of each packet exchanged. **The buffer and the window size is not the same thing. **No need to show the three-way-handshake process. But, do consider it.

Based on congestion control and flow control, its offered window is 40 bytes. So far, the client sent segments with Sequence numbers 15, 25, and 35. The highest acknowledgement it received is 45 This client could send up to new byte(s). (Answer -1 if the client cannot send anymore new...

    (a) A data link with a 1 Gigabits/sec capacity is used to transmit packets made up of 1400 bytes of data and 100 bytes of protocol control information. Each packet is acknowledged by a short frame of size 150 bytes. The propagation speed in the transmission medium is 200,000 km/sec. Consider the buffering and processing time in the nodes to be negligible. A node A communicates with a node B, with a distance between nodes A and B of 16...

Using python 3 to create the UDP Ping Clien and server. Using UDP sockets, you will write a client and server program that enables the client to determine the round-trip time (RTT) to the server. To determine the RTT delay, the client records the time on sending a ping request to the server, and then records the time on receiving a ping response from the server. The difference in the two times is the RTT. The ping message contains 2...
