2. The animal possess asymmetry because they are not divided into two equal halves.
3. Like other animals porifera absorb organic carbon rather than fixing it from inorganic sources such as carbon-dioxide. Their cells do not have cell wall. They produce sperm cells. That's why porifera is classified as animal.
