Answer 1: The Correct answer is option 'B' i.e. highly exergonic. Exergonic reactions are those reactions during which energy is released when reactants are converted into products. When ATP is hydrolysed into ADP and pyrophosphate, energy is released in large amount, nearly 13.1 KJ/mol is released. So, it is considered to be highly exergonic process.

Answer 2: Second messengers are intracellular signalling molecules released by cells in response to exposure to extracellular molecules which helps in signal transduction. One such molecule is Ca​​​​​2+ ion.

So, the correcy answer is option '2'.
