17. Ascomyceta are a group of fungi that produce sexual spores in a sac called ascus. Yeast belong to this group of fungi and produce ascospores.

18. The component resent in all viruses is a capsid, which is a protein that covers its genome. Envelope may or may not be present and the genome can be made of RNA or DNA hence other options are not all inclusive.

19. Viruses that infect bacteria are called bacteriophages.They can use only the lytic cycle (virulent phages) or both lytic and lysogenic cycle for multiplication. Viruses that integrate into the chromosome of bacteria (lysogenic cycle) are called temperate phages. They integrate their genome ith that of the host bacteria and increase their number by alloing normal reproduction of the bacteria.
