Answer

Auxins: Plant hormone which is responsible for the elongation of the shoot cells to regulate the plant growth.

Gibberellins: Plant hormone present to stimulates the stem elongation, flowering as well as germination.

  • If both auxins and gibberellins are absent or either any one of them is absent then the plant can’t grow as normal. Experiments done by several studies proven that any one of the hormone deficiency can leads to the reduced growth of the plant and thus appear as dwarf plant.
  • In normal plant both the hormonesa are present and they shows sufficient growth. But in the case of dwarf plants , they either lack both auxin and gibberellins or any one of them.
