16. d, Angiosperms

Charophytes and bryophytes doesn't have leaves. Pteridophytes have feather like leaves with cuticle. Gymnosperms and angiosperms have promimamt cuticle in their leaves. Leaves of gymnosperms are very thick because of the various cell depositions and cuticle. Therefore, the leaves of angiosperms are very thinner and longer than gymnosperms.

Petals are modified leaves that attract pollinators and protects the fertile regions of flowers.

Bracts functioned like flowers. Bracts are leaflike or wildly showy specialized plant structures that attracts pollinators and protects inflorescences. Tendrils are specialized stem, leaves or petiole with a threadlike appearance that are used by climbing plants for support, and attachment. Spines are modified leaves or stipules that protects plants from predators and from extreme temperatures by shading or insulating the plants. Stolons are vegetative propogules or runner stems that run in horizontal direction from the main stem of a plant. Cladophylls replace the leaves and serves as photosynthetic in function.
