1. Sporopollenin is complex biopolymers which is very hard and stable. In spores sporopollenin prevent the drying and degeneration. So in absence of sporopollenin spores would dry more quickly.

2. The main difference between seed dispersing and spore dispersing plants are that sporophyte of seed plants are photosynthetic and independent along with the dispersal of seeds and pollen grains takes place in place of spores.
