Answer #1

DNA is double-stranded, 2 strands of the DNA are complementary to each other, that is A base pairs with T and vice versa and G basepairs with C and vice versa.

G and C interact via 3 hydrogen bonds and A and T interact via 2 hydrogen bonds.

If the GC content in the DNA is higher it is difficult to separate the double-stranded DNA into single-stranded DNA`s so the Hot spring bacteria have more GC in their DNA compared to bacteria at 37-degree Celcius.

so the answer is b) Hot spring bacteria have more G-C in their DNA compared to body bacteria.
