SARIN'S MECHANISM OF ACTION WITH THAT OF PUFFERFISH TOXIN:

Tetrodotoxin is a potent neurotoxin found in various kinds of species like pufferfish which is having a analgesic property. TTX binds to the voltage gated sodium channels in membranes of nerve cells inhibiting action potential thus blocking the nerve transmission.

Sarine is a potent inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase. Sarin molecules block enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine and so increase the acetylcholine level at the receptor. Ach molecules which got binded to the receptors stimulate the cell to let off the impluse, as it continues the victim losess the control of different functions.
