The drug that that allows calcium to enter the egg, prevents fertilization because it prevents sperm from fertilization with the egg.

Increase in calcium ion concentration in the egg cytoplasm leads to the formation of the fertilization envelope. Therefore, prevent sperm and egg fertilization.

By adding a molecule that binds to bindin-like protein on the human sperm head would be an effective contraception because binding of molecule to sperm heads blocks sperm-egg fusion.
