Answer #1
Gylcolysis preparatory phase citric acid cycle electron transport chain
Starting substrate glucose pyruvate Acetyl Co.A NADH /FADH2
ATP yeild 2 ----- 2 3/2
NADH yeild 2 2 6 ----
FADH2 yeild ------ --- 2 -----
Loction cytoplasm of cell mitochondria Mitochondrial matrix Mitochondrial wall

Note

  • Total 4 ATP produced in substrates level phosphorylation of step no. 6 and 9 but 2 ATP used in step no. 1 so net ATP production is 2 ATP.
  • NADH-UQ reductase/ complex I used NADH as substrate while succinate UQ reductase / complex II used FADH2  as substrate.
