Sar 1 and Rab are GTP binding proteins whic act as key regulators in vesicle trafficking. Both Sar 1 and Rab proteins on the mebranes are recycle in to the cytoplasm in GDP bounded form. Rabs on target membrane called as rab effectors are not at all recycled.
